PokerBrain
A free poker trainer that runs in your browser. You play a hand against modelled bots, and it grades your read of an opponent's range, your pot odds and your equity, inside the hand.
- Play full hands against two to five bots. Each is one of sixteen player type by strategy pairs, named on its seat: Solid, TAG, LAG, TP, LP, NIT or Maniac, playing value only, balanced or bluff heavy.
- After each action the target bot takes, the hand holds while you mark the hands you think it would do that with on a 13 by 13 grid. At the end you find out whether its actual two cards survived your read.
- Pot odds questions when you face a bet, and equity questions once per street after the flop.
- An Equity Estimation mode, graded against exact enumeration to within one percentage point.
- Free, with no account and nothing sold. Play chips only, with no real money anywhere in it. Everything computes in your browser, so it installs from the address bar and runs with no network.
PokerBrain is not a solver. Opponents follow hand-written playing styles. No expected value is computed and no line is claimed to be optimal.
